This week Cam sat down with guest Laura Eigel and talked about the importance of having Values and how instilling them within your personal life as well as your business can make a huge difference in setting yourself up for success. Laura Eigel is the Founder of The Catch Group, a Leadership and Coaching Firm helping women accelerate into the C Suite, the Host of You Belong in the C Suite Podcast, and the Author of the book Values First. With more than 20 years of experience in HR and through her career, she built leadership in others to help them align with their personal values of growth and development. Laura is an achiever at heart and an advocate for others but felt a misalignment for her calling, so she left her corporate job and began offering individual coaching, group coaching, and consulting with companies.
Cam and Laura chat about how they each sat down and navigated defining their own personal values as well as nailing down the guiding values for their businesses. Both having navigated through the highs and lows, especially during the shutdown of 2020, Cam and Laura both have great insight into the struggles and successes, and how having these Core Values acted as the foundation to continue pressing on.
